1955 THUNDERBIRD "GASSER" STYLE DRAGSTER
This 1955 T-Bird was restored and custom built by Wilson and Steely Kustom Coachworks in Athol MA. As per the customer's wishes it was built in the "Gasser" style of the late '50s and early '60s. In order to stay true to the era I was commissioned to hand paint the lettering. The car is called the "Torquing Bird" because it has a 472 cubic inch Cadillac motor. These motors were known for their incredible power and "torque".  This very cool car was shown at the "World of Wheels" in Boston and won first prize in it's class.
