Windows That Aren't Really There In a Private Residence, Central Ma
 My customer commissioned me to paint Trompe-l'œil copies of the windows on the wall on the right, onto the wall facing you in the photo below. My mission was to realistically create the optical illusion that the windows exist on what was actually a plain, blank gray wall. This wall is 17' feet high. One of the most challenging parts of the project was to paint the crown moldings at the top of the windows to look like they were actually there, but they aren't.
